Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Why Serving Matters

When you volunteer at Mount Olive, you’re not just filling a slot—you’re participating in what God is doing in people’s lives every week.

Volunteer FAQ

I'm new to the church. Can I still volunteer?

Yes! Some roles (especially with kids and students) require you to attend for a certain period of time, and / or membership, but there are many ways to start serving right away.

What if I try something and it’s not a good fit?

Then we celebrate that you tried, and help you find another spot. We want you to serve where you can thrive, not just survive.

I’m not sure what I’m gifted in. What should I do?

That’s okay.  Take this spiritual gifts assessment by clicking here. When you fill out the form below  select “Help me find a good fit.” Someone from our team will connect with you to talk, pray, and suggest a few areas to try.

How much time does volunteering take?

It depends on the role. We’ll talk about this clearly before you commit.
